Please note that we will be offering the units in separate rooms, with an all-day focus for each.

Practical Media 202 for Intermediates

The Adobe Practical 202 session will be covering project based tutorial sessions in Premiere Pro & Photoshop.
The day will consist of two detailed hands on practical tutorials, followed by a short project in each software to enable you to feel comfortable teaching the software to your media students. The two workshops can be used as stand alone tasks in your Media classrooms. The workshops will include production shooting on DSLR’s which will be provided on the day.
Please be mindful that this session is a more advanced guide to the software with beginner sessions running in Term 3 for those wanting to learn the basics. There should be a level of competence already established in both Premiere Pro and Photoshop prior to the workshop. You will walk away from the day with skills in the two of the most commonly used Adobe software programs in a Media classroom.

A full day professional learning seminar about the VCE Media U3 SAT, going over the criteria, examples of different score levels, differences between the scales of the rubic, and small group crossmarking.

Middle School Media Menagerie

In this webinar, experienced media teacher Travis Mckenzie will take teachers through resources and strategies for teaching Media in middle school (years 7-10).
This webinar also include completing an Adobe Creative Educator (ACE) Level 1 certification, providing additions to your toolkit in the media classroom.
